Overview

• Serve the parish community by assisting the assembly with practical details so the Liturgy can be celebrated with ease and grace.
   

Responsibilities

​

• Arrives early with appropriate attire and nametag.
   

• Ensures that people are designated to assist with the collections; serve as a substitute in the event that altar servers are not available for bearing the cross, candles and ringing the bells.
   

• Collects all monetary donations as per protocol established and carries the collection forward when gifts are presented, ensuring its security during and after Mass.
   

• Manages the movement of parishioners during Holy Communion.
   

• Ensures the Church is clean and welcoming for the next Mass.
   

• Carries out other duties as assigned.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

​

• Is ideally, a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church.
   

• Friendly and outgoing disposition.
   

• Perceptive and able to manage situations that may arise with tact, gentleness and kindness
