Overview

​

• Assists with the process of preparing children to celebrate their First Reconciliation and Eucharist in a hospitable and welcoming manner and liaises with the Coordinator on an ongoing basis.

 

Responsibilities

​

• Prepares for gatherings and catechetical sessions based on the materials provided.
   

• Gathers the children and their parents and helps lead them through the sessions as assigned, also monitoring attendance.
   

• Shares the faith accurately and seeks support when necessary.
   

• Attends and participates in the liturgical celebrations when available.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

​

• Is a registered, active member of the parish.

 

• Is at least 18 years old and knows the basics of the Roman Catholic faith.

 

• Communicates effectively with youth.

 

• Has appropriate presentation and facilitation skills.
