Overview

​

• Members of the choir share in the proper performance of the music sung and encourage the active participation of the faithful in the singing.

 

Responsibilities

​

• Under the direction of the Music Director, comes prepared to sing music selected for the Liturgy.
   

• May be called upon to play an instrument if appropriate skill is demonstrated.
   

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

​

• Is a registered, active member of the parish.

 

• Is at least 18 years old and knows the basics of the Roman Catholic faith.
   

• Is able to comfortably and confidently sing in public.
   

• Demonstrates adequate skill in vocal techniques and ideally, is able to read music or is able to learn new music quickly
