Overview

  • In cooperation with the Liturgical Art & Environment Coordinator, cares for plants used in liturgical art and environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assists the coordinator to plan the visual layout of the Church by proper placement of onsite flowering and house plants.

 

  • Cares for the plants in all areas of the church, including providing adequate lighting, watering, pruning, repotting, etc. ensuring that life of the plant is extended as long as possible.

 

  • Cultivates new plants to decrease costs to the church.

 

  • Ensures that water spillage does not damage any part of the church.
     

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

  • Is a registered, active member of the parish.

 

  • Is at least 18 years old and knows the basics of the liturgical environment. 

 

  • Possesses extensive experience and knowledge regarding house plants and outdoor plants.

 

  • Is reliable and ideally, able to visit the church twice per week.
