Overview

In cooperation with the Liturgical Art & Environment Coordinator, cares for plants used in liturgical art and environment.
Responsibilities
-
Assists the coordinator to plan the visual layout of the Church by proper placement of onsite flowering and house plants.

Cares for the plants in all areas of the church, including providing adequate lighting, watering, pruning, repotting, etc. ensuring that life of the plant is extended as long as possible.

Cultivates new plants to decrease costs to the church.

Ensures that water spillage does not damage any part of the church.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
-
Is a registered, active member of the parish.

Is at least 18 years old and knows the basics of the liturgical environment.
-
Possesses extensive experience and knowledge regarding house plants and outdoor plants.
-
Is reliable and ideally, able to visit the church twice per week.
