Overview

​

• Assists the presider at a funeral Mass at the Church.

 

Responsibilities

​

• Arrives at least 30 minutes before the funeral begins, ensuring that all religious articles are put out before the funeral and safely stored or returned afterwards.
   

• Participates in the procession at the beginning and end of Mass.
   

• Assists the presider in the sanctuary during the funeral Mass and other duties as assigned.
   

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

​

• Is a registered, active member of the parish.

 

• Is at least 18 years old and knows the basics of the Roman Catholic faith.

 

• Has the ability to work as a team.
