Overview

• Responsible for the timely and accurate counting of weekly and special collections for Holy Redeemer Parish, according to the procedures fixed by the Parish Finance Committee and the Diocese of Sault Ste Marie.

 

Responsibilities

​

• Ensures that all counting teams consist of at least three people, with no more than two persons per team related.

• Ensures that all established procedures are followed for the opening, sorting, and counting of collection donations.

• Notifies the pastor and the office administrator immediately in the event of major discrepancies/concerns.

 

• Advises the office administrator is unable to make scheduled counting shift and when supplies are needed.
   

• Assists with mailings for annual tax receipts.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

​

• Is a registered, active member of the parish.

 

• Is at least 18 years old and can work as a team.

 

• Has accurate counting and recording skills with previous experience an asset.
