Overview

​

• Assists the presider at Mass.

 

Responsibilities

​

• Knows how to use various liturgical items at Mass (cross, candles, incense, etc.).

 

• If called upon, assists with the preparation of the sanctuary and the sacred vessels before and after Mass. 

 

• If called upon, participates in the procession at the beginning and end of Mass.
   

• If called upon, assists the presider in the sanctuary during the Mass and other duties as assigned.
   

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

​

• Is a registered, active member of the parish.

 

• Is at least 18 years old and knows the basics of the Roman Catholic faith.

 

• Has the ability to work as a team.
